Excelsior Bayonet foaled : 5/1/01
Bonhomme is black with a medium star and a tiny snip.
He has a super neck and currently stands 16.3.
His full sister stands 17.3 barefoot at 35 months, I expect him to be at least
17.2
He is a very leggy clean bone colt with
great hocks and a good foot.
He has good slope to his pasterns and has yet to be shod which should only improve
his already good action.
He has been started in harness (he has been hooked to a light stone boat and
is doing well)
Bayonet's mother is a black Dragano mare standing 16.3 hands. She was Junior
Champion mare at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto in 1984. She was used as a
swing mare in the Blacks 6 horse hitch of mares for several years. As most Dragano
mare she has a super head and neck and passes this on to her offspring.
Valley View Johnny is a massive black horse standing 18.1 hands. He is out of
Valley View Sue and is sired by Valley View Gambler that ended up going to Japan.
Prior to going to Japan he was Grand Champion at the Royal Winter Fair.
